what tranny does a 99 pontiac grand prix GT have an what is a HDconversion on the tranny an wut does it benefit ?? |

Sorry I missed this post.
The GT has the same tranny as the GTP EXCEPT
GT has 3.29 gears and the GTP has 2.93
GTP has a better differental (HD conversion)
To do a HD conversion you would need.
GTP diff, GTP diff cover, output shaft, and the GTP passanger side CV shaft.
IF your making a bit of power (over 275 FWHP) then it would be a good idea to do. |
