Coolant leak.
A pressure test shows a coolant leak from between the lower intake manifold to block junction, just above the water pump and and 'behind' what I presume is the MAP sensor housing.
My question is, what magnitude of repair job is this? Is it basically wrench work? A Saturday? A weekend? A week of nights?
I note the fuel rail has to be removed in the process. Is that special tool job?
Is there something better than the RTV GM recommends for the seal?
Is there a factory or aftermarket sealant or gasket component that is superior?
Any suggestions regarding this task?
Thanks in advance,
